What does SEED do?

SEED identifies through proper referrals, the kind of families who have not had any awareness of education for many generations. We counsel the parents about the importance of education and outline the assistance that SEED freely offers for the children. It is about motivating the parents to show them that their children can have growth and development like any other child who have opportunities to improvise their standard of living further. We will never eradicate poverty without equal educational opportunities.

As an organization SEED covers the cost of all school fees, books, two sets of uniforms and daily transport to the nearest English Medium School. Interested parents commit their children to the English Medium School that we have chosen. The children live with their parents so that the normal life is not disturbed.

SEED collects attendance every fortnight, and yearly progress reports of all the sponsored children. Follow-up visits are made to the family, if a child is not regularly attending school and the problem is addressed. These children otherwise would have never gone to an school due to social and economical problems. Our aim is to get them professional education as SEED  believes that the main cause for poverty is lack of education and lack of opportunity.
